MONICAGATE
”I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky”.
At only 22 years old, Monica Lewinsky is initiating an affair with the President of the United States Bill Clinton – an affair with the world’s most powerful man. Before she knew it, she was hated by a whole nation and became the figurehead for cyberbullying in the ‘90s most widely-discussed personal and political scandal.
Monicagate is a story about humiliation, lies, power, mistakes, and is a portrait of a woman who quickly became involved in a case of lies that was way bigger than herself. A simple crush with unpredictable consequences.
