Over a 1000 young people reported for distribution of child pornography. But they were not aware of the fact that they were doing something wrong. A young woman livestreams her friend being raped, without understanding the situation. A whole party witness a woman being raped but doesn’t interfere. The episode ends up on the internet. These are a selection of real cases which has flourished in the media the last couple of years.

‘Assault’ is a story about violation, sex, humiliation, mistakes and about the social shaming, that way too often is pronounced against those whom society should be protecting. A group of young people are suddenly getting involved in a serios case regarding sharing sexual content without consent. In just a moment the video is spreading like wildfire, and a carefree night ends in unpredictable consequences.
